within the comfortable full-length and sandal footbeds, the stability cradle cups the heel and helps prevent rearfoot motion and maintain alignment in order to avoid overpronating or oversupinating. The medial "wing" of the cradle extends
a bit further, offering additional support to the arch.
Essential support can be achieved several ways: with a sculpted last, a
contoured footbed, or a device implanted in the outsole—even an outsole
with longitudinal wraps. Any component added to Aravon shoes must be
very lightweight, highly effective and skillfully honed to fit within the trim
Aravon silhouette.
