Geox Shoes are the shoes that breathe. Geox was born when founder Mario Moretti Polegato was jogging and decided to cut holes in the outsole to cool his feet. This innovative shoe design has quickly become a favorite worldwide, instantly showcasing new technology for comfort and with it, an advanced design that encompasses sport, casual and dress shoe looks.
The Geox breathes® patented system contains micro-holes in the rubber outsole let perspiration from the feet out of the shoes and the breathable membrane keeps water out and the feet dry.

THE FINAL CONSUMER BENEFIT |
|
THE OUTSOLE A series of micro-holes are made in the rubber outsole, positioned in correspondence of the highest concentration of sweat glands under the foot soles.
THE MEMBRANE The Geox membrane is made of a special micro-porous material which absorbs sweat through the insole and lets it out in the form of water vapour. The membrane's micro-pores are larger than water vapour molecules, but smaller than water droplets - hence keeping water out and the feet dry.
THE FINAL CONSUMER BENEFIT The Geox system allows balancing the ideal microclimate inside of the footwear, with the result of dry feet, much less overheated than feet wearing shoes with conventional rubber sole. |
