The Danner Mountain Light Lownsdale is your way to quality and comfort from the beginning of leave falling to spring showers. The boot is named after Daniel H. Lownsdale, a tanner who paid for half of Portland, Oregon with $5,000 in leather. Danner is proud to produce it's hand made footwear in America, and has been using Gore-Tex® liners in their boots since 1979. A Vibram® outsle provides comfort and stability with excellent traction. Go with boots that will last a lifetime with the Danner Mountain Light Lownsdale, they're even deisgned to be "recraftable".
These boots are reminiscent of Danner's early days in Portland, Oregon, fittingly part of the Stumptown collection. Danner shows it's hometown pride, nostalgic of a time when Stumptown (Portland) was covered with stumps, giving locals as much trouble as they did help during the rainy muddy months of the Pacific Northwest. A modern twist is added to these old lumberjack classics for a collection that has everyone talking, even a feature in GQ magazine!
