The Birkenstock Florida Soft Footbed is a fabulous triple-strap sandal that offers security and style. This women's slide sandal features a nubuck upper with fully adjustable buckles for the perfect fit. The anatomically correct cork/latex footbed, crafted from cork that is 100% renewable and sustainable, encourages foot health. The suede lined, foam padded, contoured footbed will mold to the shape of your foot creating a custom footbed that supports and cradles you each and every step. The neutral heel profile and deep heel cup keeps the natural padding of your foot where it belongs, under the heel, distributing your body weight more evenly. This Birkenstock sandal also has a flexible EVA outsole that offers lightweight, shock absorbing support with lasting durability. Wonderful Sandals
My podiatrist recommended Birkenstock sandals, and now they are my favorite! I knew I would like these because I have a pair in another color. They are perfect! I love how they look and feel, and my feet love them, too!

Order one size down
I love this sandal but, I wish I'd ordered a size down. getting the proper fit with birkenstock's can be tricky because they fit differently than most shoes you are used to wearing. There is supposed to be a little wiggle room. Unfortunately, this led me to wearing these birkies outside thus, when I finally realized they were a little too big, it was too late to return them :( HOWEVER, the good news is, they are still entirely wearable :) also, size can vary from style to style. I have one pair of birkies in a 39 that fir perfect, one in a size 40 that are a bit too large, and having thought I learned by lesson purchased a different pair in a size 39 and it looks like I will have to return those for a 38! Oh, well, they are still a great shoe!

The only one for me
I have been wearing Birkenstock sandals since 1980. However, at 82, my feet are very sensitive due to Neuropathy. Therefore, I can no longer "break in" a new pair. Discovering the soft footbed Florida sandal was a wonderful blessing for me because they are so comfortable, that I can just put them on and be happy.

The Birkenstock Florida Soft Footbed has been found to run a size larger. I would recommend ordering a size down. If you find you still need a different size please take advantage of our free returns.
