Gorgeous shoes, but need arch support
These Fly London Yala shoes are lovely, unique shoes that have a vintage 40's look to them. I LOVE these shoes...but I may need to return them if I cannot find an arch support that I can install into them. Is this even possible, to find arch support that can adhere to the shoebed? I don't want to ruin the shoes, so will do my homework and research this, and if I can't find arch supports, then I must sadly send them back. Please let Fly London know that women love their shoes, but they need to offer different widths and they need to put basic arch support in the shoe soles. For the prices they charge, a comfortable footbed is a must. Please, Fly London, hear my request - because I love your shoe styles, but not the way your shoes feel. Thank you!

I love the shoes but agree they should have arch support. I too am in search of support that will fit inside of the footbed. Hopefully these comments will be received by Fly London.

my third pair of black Yalas
These shoes are incredibly comfortable and chic. I have women follow me in the street to find out where I got them or stop me at a high school tennis match to get the information to order them. However, the quality control is a huge problem and you never know whether you will get a good pair when you order them. I have had to send back two pairs in the last few years due to problems with size variations, quality of materials and poor construction. These are my third pair because the soles of the current pair have worn through within a year.

The weird variations in the shoes you've bought probably has to do with the fact that a lot of Fly London shoes are now made in China and no longer in Portugal. A friend of mine has the Yala perforated khaki color, and they're from Portugal, and they just feel better and look better.

Too tight
I wanted these badly, and ordered the same size I usually order in Fly London 41 in the lead borgogna color. I have medium width feet and high-ish insteps. The top of the sides around the insteps squished the skin together, and the upper, while the length seemed to be true, puckered in a strange place as though they didn't attach enough leather e.g. the bottom fit but the top didn't. I would have tried a larger size but they are out of that color in a 42. Sigh. They are going back.

I have narrow feet and bought the YEVA sp because they had ties and could cinch in my foot. What other styles do you have that would fit a AA foot? Please and thank you.

We would suggest trying the Yito or Ylva as both are adjustable.

have question about yelo fly shoe. am a regular size 6. most reviews are advising to to a size 5 since the 6 come up big more than an extra insole could manage. is this the case?

The majority of customers have found the Yala to run true to size. We would suggest starting with your true size and starting with a size 37.

I would order 36 but I am a 5.5. For you if you can, try 36 ad 37. Shoes that larger size reviews assess as true to size can torun big for smallest sizes. I found styles where 36 was too big for me in fly london likely would fit you as a 6 but I also tried two styles that did fit well may be a bit small for you. Unfortunately reviews of larger sizes did not correlate with what fit me vs was too large. I am always so happy if someone in the small sizes judges a shoe fit because those are more useful in deciding whether shoe will run too big or not. Hope this helps.

I have problems with shoes rubbing and causing blisters when worn without socks. Do the London Flys cause blisters?

Fly London Yala features a leather footbed which is smooth and naturally wicks moisture from the foot. You should find this lining provides ample comfort when worn without socks.

I wear these without socks/stockings and have walked many miles a day in them comfortably. The ONLY time I got a blister was when in addition to wearing them for sightseeing/kind of strolling, I wore them for what was more of an exercise walk, harder and faster. Should have worn sneakers!
