Love these boots!
I LOVE there boots! Size: I have a wide foot so always wear a 1/2 size up. This was fine for these boots too. Boots are average width, so a little narrow for me, but it is not a problem at all as they are also soft like sneakers. Fit and Comfort: As other reviewers mentioned, they are lined with soft material, and because they are designed to be relatively close fitting with the bungies, your heal will push the fabric down as you pull them on. NO PROBLEM. Stick your finger in and pull it up over your heal. I wear them 24/7 and the fabric does not slide as you're wearing them....just as you pull them on. Also, the bungies are perfect. Although I wanted a pair of "step in" boots, these are actually so much better. Still easy to pull on, but non of the heal clonking around that happen so often with step in boots (particularly it, like me, you have to order up for width issues). Also, footbed is extremely comfortable, like a sneaker. Great cushioning and support. Comfortable doing everyday suburban whatever, but also great after a 5 mile walk....I think they would be comfortable no matter how far you go. Warm and Dry: I live in NY and we've had lots of snow this winter. I have worn these boots EVERY DAY and they are truly warm and waterproof (not water resistant). Have warn them sledding, shoveling, schlepping around. Have also taken the up to VT for some real winter hikes, and they held up great. The only note would be that the are fabric, so if you're really submerged in 2 feet of snow, you're foot will eventually get cold if you're not moving around enough. But if you're moving and walking, they're toasty warm. Style: Love it. They just look like sneakers and fit easily under your pants. No need to look like a storm trooper and clonk around all the time. Work fine with dresses too. Only Drawback: The shaft is not very tall, and fits more like a sock/boot, so not very practical to tuck in your pants in deep snow. But I haven't found it to be too much of a problem, as if I'm headed out that deep, I'm wearing ski pants anyway.

NF Boot
I wear a size 8 and have never had to buy a shoe or boot in a size 8 1/2. Size 8 in this style fits very snug and I must wear thin socks(defeats the purpose of keeping your feet warm in the winter) in order for the boot to fit. I did not notice how tight they were until I wore them for the day and was unable to return for a larger size since they were already worn. Return policy on worn shoes is not very customer friendly since often times with shoes, you can not tell how well they fit until after you have worn them for several hours.
