Wolky Escape

I purchased the Wolky Escape for trip to NYC. The shoes were an important consideration for this trip since I was expecting a lot of walking and have had 'issues' with foot pain in the past. I regularly purchase Kalso Earth shoes for the negative heel, orthopedic foot bed, and arch support. Unfortunately, the options were limited this year because of fit and style. I was pleasantly surprised how fast the two pairs of Wolky Escapes arrived. I have had not much time to shop for my walking shoes for my trip since I am full time student and working 30 hours a week. The majority of my personal shopping has been reduced to online purchases until graduation from college this May. The shoes arrived after an 8 hour work day. I tried them on immediately and could not believe how comfortable they were. My feet felt refreshed. The fit was perfect. I did not have to adjust a single strap or hope to 'break them in'. I am already back online looking at additional shoes that Wolky has to offer and decided to write this review since I always read the reviews before purchasing. It may also be helpful to know how I would describe my feet besides painful. I have a narrow heel and a wide foot bed so often I will 'walk' out of my shoes or my little toes will 'hang off' the sides of sandals or be pinched in a closed toe styles. My arches are quite high and require rigid support so naturally my instep is high as well. Many shoes that are slide-on will be to tight across my the instep if they cover a large portion of that area. So, I look for adjustable straps on the instep for a better fit. The best that I can say is that the Wolky Escape fit my long list of needs and are really cute. I look forward to wearing them all over NYC.
