PIKOLINOS is currently considered one of the model companies in the footwear sector. It is a part of Grupo Pikolinos, a footwear and accessories holding company. In 2007, the Juan Peran Foundation was born. Through this non-profit organization Grupo Pikolinos aims to provide more opportunities, help and cooperation through social, cultural, sport and development projects.
Pikolinos was established in 1984.The main idea behind its creation was product development based on the design, quality and originality of a unique shoe. From the beginning, the philosophy that has inspired the company is a combination of the above maxims and the application of the highest technologies to guarantee a top quality shoe.

Pikolinos has a “zero paper” policy;the limited paper used is Ecological (100% chlorine free) and the waste generated within the company is recycled.
The majority of products manufactured are vegetable tanned, uses water-based dyes and solvent free glues which considerably reduce any environmental impact. The leather is treated with casein, a protein found in milk which adhere to pores of the leather and provides its radiant shine and natural look. Pikolinos leathers do not contain any resins or plastic films for protection. As a result, the pores remain intact which allows your feet to breathe with ease.

We channel our help to different countries of the world through the Juan Peran Foundation; which currently collaborates with several social, cultural, and development projects. Examples of such endeavours are: our development project in Bangladesh carried by UNICEF; our involvement in Mapayn Mundy Organization in Ancash, Peru; the Aderbissinat Community project in Tadibene, Nigeria; AMAMEC (Woman Breast Cancer Affected Association) in Elche, Spain; and, investigation projects in Elche Hospital in Spain.
MAASAI PROJECT 2013
A sustainability project to support the development of the Maasai community. More than 1,600 Maasai woman use traditional craftsmanship to hand-embroider leather sent from Spain for shoes and bags. Once decorated, the leather is returned to Spain where the shoes are finished.
For the first time, the Maasai women are earning a salary that allows them to improve the quality of life of the entire community while holding on to their traditions and lifestyle.
