With the love for design, meticulous attention to detail, and a passion for the art of shoe making, Think! has been producing shoes in Upper Austria’s Sauwald for 9 generations. In a labor intensive process of up to 120 stages, Think! footwear is lovingly handcrafted in Europe under strict observation of European environmental regulations and most importantly, of their own uncompromising principals.
Long before is became fashionable, Think! began creating Earth friendly ecological footwear steering clear of heavy metals, PCP, formaldehydes and chemicals that poison not only our lakes and rives, but our bloodstream too. Wherever your foot comes in contact with your shoe, Think! uses only certified vegetable tanned European leather. It is breathable, skin friendly, moisture absorbent, and most importantly, free from harmful pollutants. Think! believes in sustainable raw materials such as natural latex and cork. The bark of their tannins comes from plantation-planted trees, i.e. no trees from ancient woodlands or tropical forests are felled to produce their tanning agents. The leather is natural, without any added aluminum, chrome, mercury, or other toxic substances.
To keep healthy feet healthy, Think! shoes feature exceptional comfort and wholesome support beneficial for bones, muscles, and tendons. The anatomically designed footbeds consist primarily of natural cork (which over time molds to the natural shape of your feet to create a custom fit) and natural latex from the hevea tree. Hevea latex is a sustainable raw material which provides natural cushioning, outstanding thermal insulation, and high slip and wear resistance.
